You'll need to alter a bit of text and save the file for the changes to take effect. Find the text file named "config" and open it with Notepad. Let's choose the Echos Cobra folder for an example. Inside the "Cars" folder you'll see a folder for each of the car models in the game (stock cars and DLC's only, the mod cars are stored elsewhere, more on that later). For me the path is: Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 -> cms2018_Data -> StreamingAssets -> Cars. ![]() First of all you'll need to locate the car folder for your game. This game is all about restoring and fixing cars after all. This obviously makes them way more expensive and you'll miss out on the part where you'd otherwise fix that car up from scratch. This goes for many of the modern cars and sports cars. ![]() Many of the cars in the game don't spawn in the junkyard nor in barns, making you only able to find them at an auction in a near mint condition or at the car dealership in a 100% condition.
